The Team Leader role will be based in our Investigations and Disruption Team (IDT), within the Environmental Markets and Regulation department (EM&R). You will lead a dispersed team and be responsible for service delivery, performance and resilience.
IDT are a national team with investigators and officers based across England, ensuring a consistent disruptive approach to waste fraud across the country.
The EM&R department ensures that companies are disposing of their waste correctly by enforcing government regulations- ‘right waste, right place’ and IDT work closely with our compliance colleagues across the department to prevent and investigate waste fraud.

Despite the stringent nature of our work, we are committed to maintaining a culture of tolerance and inclusivity, with a focus on maintaining staff well-being.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do.
