Job description

**Position:** Team Leader - Inclusion & Capability
Commencing Date: As soon as practicable
Salary Range: $149,001 - $167,701 per annum pending experience
Tenure: Full Time, Fixed Term
Closing Date: Monday, 19 May 2025 unless filled prior

Townsville Catholic Education (TCE) is seeking a Team Leader to manage, advise, and support a team dedicated to inclusive education services.

About the Role

The Team Leader, Inclusion and Capability develops partnerships, builds school capacity, and elevates inclusive practices, collaborating with peers to establish consistent standards. The role acts as the primary contact for the team, supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of services to foster inclusive learning environments for all students.

Applicants with qualifications in inclusion and/or leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

About You
  • Experience in designing and delivering adult learning and professional development focused on inclusive education.
  • Leadership experience managing a multidisciplinary team supporting educators and leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse professionals.
  • Staff management skills, including recruitment, development, and work planning.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education principles, legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing and implementing inclusive education programs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
Mandatory Criteria
  • Full professional registration (e.g., Queensland teaching registration).
  • Leadership experience in team management and coordination.
  • Current Working with Children Suitability Card and Driver’s License.
  • Ability to travel within the Diocese and perform physical role requirements safely.
