Job summary

A community care provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated individual to lead care shifts and ensure quality service in a supportive environment. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Health & Social Care sector.
  • Ability to work a mix of early shifts, late shifts, and alternate weekends.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

  • Lead care shift and handle emergencies.
  • Create and update Care Plans and Risk Assessments.
  • Ensure each shift is adequately staffed.

Overview

About the role
  • Leading the care shift and dealing with any emergencies that arise on shift
  • Creating/updating Care Plans, Risk Assessments and other key documentation
  • Auditing documentation such as MAR Charts, Daily Diary Records etc
  • Completing staff rotas to ensure each shift is adequately staffed
  • Completing quality monitoring checks such as spot checks, carers assessments & reviews
  • Liaising with other Health Professions such as Doctors, District Nurses etc.
