Dean and Cauvin Young People's Trust is seeking a Team Leader for a newly opened residential home for young people aged 15-21 in Edinburgh. You'll lead a dedicated team to create a nurturing environment, supporting young people's wellbeing, educational pathways, and community connections. Role:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join us as Team Leader in our newly opened, custom-built home in Granton,supporting up to five young people aged 15–21. As Team Leader you’ll also work closely with families, social work, health services and other colleagues to keep thestrengths, aspirations and voice of the young person at the heart of all we do while ensuring their safety andwelfare is always maintained.
You will lead the day-to-day operations of the house, you are expected to lead, support and supervise a staff team tocreate a home - full of nurture and care for young people and maintained and resourced to meet the needs ofyoung people and your staff.

The successful applicant will be required to register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme andreference checks will be carried out.
The post holder must be eligible and prepared to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Theminimum educational requirements for this post is SCQF level 8 in Social Care or similar course with anexpectation to work towards a management SCQF level 10.

Role:
This is an opportunity to come and join our team as a Residential Worker primarily based at Cauvin. Cauvin is oursmall, residential space that supports up to three mums and babies at any one time.
Our team work closely with mums and their babies to provide the advice and guidance they may need to build theirattachment and bond with their child, to support their own individual health, wellbeing and independent livingskills and ensuring that their babies own growth and developmental needs are being met. We work together withfamilies, social work, health and other colleagues to ensure the strengths and voices of mums and babies are atthe heart of all we do while the safety and welfare of the child is always maintained. We work closely withcolleagues across the Trust to ensure we are taking a family and community-based approach to work and to createpositive onward transitions for mothers and babies.
To support this, our residential role involves a shift pattern over a four-week rota, that requires weekend working,lone working and sleep-ins. As part of a team you will work closely with the young people we live alongside toprovide the daily care and support they need and the advice and guidance to manage their health and wellbeing,independent learning and living skills, education and training needs. Our house staff also work closely with ourcommunity-based team to provide additional 1:1 and group supports to young people and to further develop theirsocial and community connections. We work together with families, social work, health services and othercolleagues to keep the strengths, aspirations and voice of the young person at the heart of all we do whileensuring their safety and welfare is always maintained.

Weare looking for skilled individuals who are passionate about working with young people building strongrelationships with them. This role will suit someone who understands child development, trauma-informed practiceand is skilled in planning and delivering robust assessment and interventions with young people, as well asbeing positive and thoughtful, and rights focused.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Manager is an integral part of the Senior Management Team andwill be expected to carry out such other duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time and asdirected by the CEO. Will also be responsible for the effective running of the finance department.
