Overview

We are Hastings Direct, a digital insurance provider with ambitious plans to become the Best and Biggest in the UK market. We are looking for a leadership-focused Home Claims function lead who will support the Hastings Direct goal to become a market leading home claims handling function.

Responsibilities
  • Setting and managing annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans to support ongoing progression and ensuring annual PDRs are conducted.
  • Ensuring payments are authorised in line with departmental SLA and overseeing guidance and advice in respect of technical referrals.
  • Conducting regular monthly audits on colleagues.
  • Engaging and motivating the team, delivering effective meetings.
  • Supporting the overall quality of claims handling internally and by outsourced partners.
Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience (contact centre, claims or home claims experience highly beneficial).
  • Strong customer and colleague focus.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.

  • 1st stage interview with hiring leader (1 hour via Microsoft Teams)
  • 2nd interview with our Home Claims Director (30 minutes via Microsoft Teams)
