Team Leader & Grounds Maintenance Operatives

Team Leader & Grounds Maintenance Operative/s Required for the start of the new season! (March)

We require Team Leaders & mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative/s within Preston and surrounding areas. This is a mobile role, and pick up/drop off can be arranged depending on your location.

Requirements

You must have:

1. Experience of managing a small team
2. Ability to work independently or within a small team
3. Commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
4. Experience of using hand-held power tools, such as petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.
5. A valid driver's license is essential

The Job

Mobile role working on various multi-site commercial properties such as retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools & colleges, parks, and open spaces.

1. Regular visits carrying out planned maintenance or reactive work on sites
2. Working within a small team
3. Customer service interaction is essential to ensure the client is happy with the works carried out

Company van and mobile iPad are provided. Vehicle checks are also part of the responsibilities.

Salary: £30k-£40k based on a 48-hour per week pay through an annualized hours program. Overtime may be available at a premium rate but is not guaranteed.
