Pret A Manger - Shift Leader - Front of House
- Support and coach the team to ensure they reach their potential in both the shop and kitchen
- Support the training pathways to ensure training happens on time
- Lead by example and be hands-on when required
- Assign duties amongst team members to match individual productivity rates, skill sets and current responsibilities
- Coach the team for good performance by offering good regular feedback and praises

- Lead the Speed of Service principles
- Ensure the team consistently follows the 6 Key Points of Service
- Follow the MBWA principles
- Empower the team to deliver engaging Joy of Pret activities
- Role model the 3Bs and empower the team to Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Generous
- Ensure the Coffee Calling System is followed efficiently
- Ensure all Marketplace orders are prepared promptly and accurately
DELICIOUS FOOD AND DRINK
- Ensure the team consistently delivers delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production
- Follow the 11-Step Production Process to guarantee safety and accuracy
- Prioritize customer needs without compromising quality or freshness
- Use and follow How to Cards to maintain Pret standards
- Carry out Line Checks and implement improvements as needed
- Maintain quality by avoiding Made to Sell (MTS) rejects on display
- Develop team knowledge about food and coffee quality
- Ensure Barista Prepared Drinks are made to high standards
- Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards
- Monitor and record safety checks
- Take corrective actions promptly
- Keep the shop clean, safe, and equipment well maintained
- Proactively monitor standards through MBWA
- Report and escalate quality issues
- Support sales, labor efficiency, and profit through the Big 4
- Order accurately according to business needs
- Follow Mystery Shopper requirements
- Control stock via the 7 Steps of Unaccounted
- Follow financial standards to minimize risks
- Use merchandising and marketing effectively to drive sales
GROWING SALES
- Follow merchandising guidelines and utilize marketing to increase sales
- Support successful food launches
- Encourage effective communication between kitchen and FOH to meet business needs
