We are seeking an experienced scientist to lead a dedicated research team focused on advancing quantum devices, networks, and their applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven research track record, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to working with academia and industry partners.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading a team in researching and developing quantum devices and network applications.
2. Integrating within a larger group, collaborating with other teams in the quantum information industry.
3. Coordinating with academic and industrial partners on shared projects.
4. Representing and reporting team achievements internally and externally.
5. Engaging with the scientific and industrial community through conferences, publications, and industry events.

Skills & Experience - Essential:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Significant original research in semiconductor devices, quantum optics, or related fields.
• Experience in independent and collaborative work environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Motivation to work with new technologies and adapt to achieve shared goals.

Skills & Experience - Desirable:

• Experience in administrative or strategic leadership, including reporting and planning.
• Understanding of device fabrication processes.
• Experience in optoelectronic device characterization.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device simulation and modeling.
• Familiarity with PCB design, assembly, and GHz electronics.
• Experience with large collaborative projects.
