Job description

Phil is looking to recruit a Team Leader with some experience in leading people. You must be forward-thinking and a motivator of people. Phil values individuals committed to inclusion and supporting him to live a fulfilled life. Comfort with storytelling and being animated is essential, as these are important to Phil and expected from his staff daily.

Phil enjoys holidays in Cornwall and Somerset several times a year and regularly attends activities, outings, and day trips. As a team leader, you will be responsible for leading the team in planning and achieving these activities. You should lead by example, be highly self-motivated, and understand how to get the best from your team. Responsibilities include managing rotas and timesheets, ensuring Phil has the support he needs, and maintaining the overall smooth running of the team.

You will need to be confident with technology such as a laptop, smartphone, Outlook, and Word. A flexible and calm approach to your working day is advantageous. Management hours will be allocated for planning, paperwork, meetings, professional development, and mandatory training. Effective communication with your team, Phil’s family, and external professionals is essential. You should be organized, able to prioritize, and manage your time effectively.
