A social justice charity is seeking an Operational Manager for Finance, Benefit & Debt Services to support marginalized individuals in Wales. You will provide operational management, lead Financial Wellbeing Coaches, and foster partnerships with probation managers. Candidates should have experience supporting male offenders and knowledge of financial advice. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule and various benefits.
Full Time, 35 hours per week (flexible hours). Fixed Term until 28th February 2027. This role is based across Wales, with office locations in Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, and Wrexham.
The successful candidate will provide operational management support across contracts awarded by HMPPS to deliver Finance, Benefit, and Debt (FBD) services in Wales. Responsibilities include providing person-centred support to service users, who may be serving community sentences or recently released from prison. You will lead and support a team of Financial Wellbeing Coaches (FWCs) and Peer Advisor volunteers, setting performance objectives, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
You will also develop strong relationships with local Wales Probation managers, staff, and external stakeholders, manage partnerships, and ensure a safe and trusting environment for staff.
