As a Team Leader, you will coach and mentor your team, providing regular support through supervision and training needs assessment. You will be responsible for creating monthly rotas, considering budgetary constraints, and ensuring staff meet their contracted hours. On-call duties will be allocated on a rotational basis.

Working alongside the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include liaising with external health professionals and facilitating meetings with supported individuals and their significant others to develop person-centered support plans. You will match individuals with suitable staff, considering their specific outcomes and goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workloads.
  • Good understanding of SSSC Codes of Practice and Health & Social Care Standards.
  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships with supported individuals, families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and motivational skills.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle.
Benefits:
  • Generous annual leave.
  • TRFS rewards scheme offering cash-back and discounts.
  • Paid travel during shifts and 45p per mile fuel allowance.
  • Continuous in-house training and career development opportunities.
  • Refer a Friend scheme with a £150 reward.
  • Employee Forum for feedback and improvement.
  • Free Glasgow Credit Union membership.
  • HSF Health Care plan.
  • Counselling & Life Works services.
