Our dynamic and friendly team in North Lanarkshire is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in care to join as a Team Leader, primarily covering North Lanarkshire.

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is a leading voluntary organization supporting people with diverse needs to live independently in their own homes, emphasizing values of choice, dignity, and social inclusion.

The role:

Due to the nature of the role, we can only accept applications from females who have a driving license and access to their own vehicle. This is a 37.5-hour position.

As a Team Leader, you will mentor your team, providing support through supervision and training. You will manage monthly rotas, considering budget and staffing hours. On-call duties will be shared on a rotational basis.

You will work with the Service Manager to liaise with health professionals and facilitate meetings to develop person-centered support plans, matching staff to individuals based on specific outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals in care.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
  • Good understanding of SSSC Codes of Practice and Health & Social Care Standards.
  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or willingness to obtain it.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with supported individuals, families, and professionals.
  • Leadership skills to motivate others.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle.
