A community care provider is seeking a Team Leader in Wednesfield to support their extra care complex. This full-time role involves a mix of care and administrative duties, requiring good communication skills and ideally an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. The Team Leader will oversee Care Workers, manage schedules, and participate in an on-call rota. Offers include career progression and a NEST pension.
Radis Community Care are looking for a Team Leader to join our team based in Nichols Court, Linton. Nichols Court has 40 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.
This is a Full Time position, 50/50 Care and Admin, including a mixture of care shifts (7am - 2pm and 2pm - 9pm) and Office Hours (9am - 5pm). 37.5 hours per week, contract.

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialised support to individuals. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.
You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions / meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.
You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.
Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will ideally, but not essential, have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.
This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving licence with access to a vehicle will also be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
