Job summary

Asda is seeking a Team Leader (Express) in Blyth to guide a small team, drive daily operations, and deliver outstanding customer service in our fast-paced store.

You’ll oversee your section—replenishment, checkouts, groceries or fresh foods—coaching colleagues, meeting targets, and using data to improve service, stock, and standards.

Hours are 30 per week with a £14.10 pay rate, and the role includes Asda benefits such as discounts, pension, and wellbeing support.

You’ll support your team to meet targets, solve problems, and create a welcoming store environment.

You’ll be confident in coaching and motivating others, with a hands-on approach and a passion for delivering great customer service. You’ll be flexible, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges across different store formats—including our growing Asda Express locations. You’ll also be comfortable using data and insight to make decisions, and you’ll take pride in helping your team grow and succeed.
