Based in Belfast

We are currently hiring for the role of Team Leader for a support organization. We seek a Team Leader with experience as a Service User of Mental Health Services, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role, to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

The Team Leader will support the Belfast Manager and lead a team of Peer Advocates, ensuring effective and timely service delivery while maintaining high standards. The role involves working with adults facing mental health difficulties, aiding their recovery, and promoting independence through support, information, and options. The Team Leader will also oversee Peer Advocacy and ensure service user perspectives inform practices.

Essential Criteria:

  • Lived experience as a mental health service user and achieved recovery.
  • Knowledge of the needs of those experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • 1-3 years in a team leader or supervisor role.
  • Level/Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online meeting platforms.
  • Completed or willing to undertake an accredited Peer Advocacy qualification.
  • Full clean driving license.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the mental health sector.
  • Experience working for a not-for-profit organization.
  • Post-secondary school qualification.
