Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Team Leader within the Contextual Safeguarding Team to work full time for based in Hillingdon.

The salary for this permanent Team Leader job is up to £54,129 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. To be responsible for the selection, development and performance of the AXIS and Government funded prevention programmes in line with the Council's HR policies.
  2. To ensure all team members receive the appropriate level of communication to maintain engagement with the Council's vision, priorities and activities.
  3. To work closely and creatively with the partner agencies and community groups to ensure effective intervention programmes are delivered to children and young people.
  4. Provide expert professional and technical advice to other staff, managers, colleagues and partners.
  5. To manage workload systems to ensure resources address priority cases and respond to changing needs and circumstances, ensuring staff workloads are suited to their training and experience.
  6. To produce management information and analysis which can be presented to a range of audiences.
  7. Provide professional leadership to colleagues through demonstrating exemplary practice, sharing knowledge and positively managing the interface between practice and education/training.
  8. Ensure that all appropriate practice guidance and policies are in place and reviewed on a regular basis.
  9. To take responsibility for the effective management of the allocated department/team budget.
  10. To ensure that resources are managed and deployed effectively to ensure maximum impact and service delivery.
  11. Manage the implementation of improvement initiatives and change programmes using the Council Project Management and Service Improvement methodologies.
  12. To build maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies on a local, regional and national level.
Requirements of this Team Leader role:
  1. A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
  3. Registered or eligible for registration.
