About the Role

Contracts & Commercial Team Leader

As Team Leader, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, ensuring effective service delivery.
• Provide legal advice on complex commercial, procurement, and governance issues.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including high-value contracts and strategic projects.
• Promote innovation and a collaborative working environment.

About You

We seek a confident legal leader with:

• Experience in leading legal teams with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Several years PQE as a solicitor or call to the Bar.
• Extensive experience in contract and commercial law, preferably within or alongside the public sector.
• Knowledge of procurement law, the Procurement Act 2023, and local authority legal frameworks.
• Ability to manage complex legal issues and make strategic decisions.
