About The Role

We're looking for a Children's Care Team Leader to support the Registered Manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift. Be a part of developing our service and help make a difference in a young person's life every day.

Position: Children's Care Team Leader

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne

Hours: 40 hours per week with overtime to cover sickness and leave. Shifts include early to late (7:30am - 9:00pm), early (7:30am - 3:30pm), late (3:00pm - 9:00pm), and sleep-ins paid at £55 when required.

The role

You will support the Registered Manager by leading daily shift management, providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower your team and help children achieve their goals and aspirations.

About you

Successful applicants will need:

  • Experience supporting children with complex needs.
  • A passion for providing high-quality support that promotes independence, learning, development, health, and fun for children and young people.

You must be available to work various shifts on a rota and ideally hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards it.

About The Service

We support children aged 0-18 with complex medical needs such as epilepsy, gastrostomy care, tracheotomy, ventilator dependency, learning disabilities, communication, and mobility support. Our well-equipped residential house has 6 bedrooms decorated to the child's or young person's taste.
