Children's Residential Home Team Leader - Senior

Overview:

• We require a resilient Team Leader / Senior worker for our new Ofsted-registered dual-registered service in Southport (opening April 2025).
• The ideal candidate will work alongside our management team and must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care.
• This is a full-time position with essential experience.
• We offer competitive pay rates and pay sleep-in duties at £60.00 per night, per shift.
• A driving license is desirable due to the rural location.
• Applicants must be aged 21 or over.

Duties include:

• Taking the lead on shift and setting a positive example.
• Delegating duties fairly among staff.
• Training new staff members.
• Participating in on-call duties and handling out-of-hours calls when needed.
• Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks, and care plans are completed and maintained.
• Supporting and meeting the needs of children or young people.
• Collaborating with the Deputy Manager.
• Assisting with staff supervisions and appraisals.
• Offering competitive pay.

• Time and a half pay on bank holidays.
