Team Leader
Buckinghamshire - office based with some flexibility for hybrid working after probation
Up to £35K

We're seeking a Team Leader to oversee operations for a busy front office team. Reporting to the Head of Savings, you will lead and develop the Customer Services Team to ensure customers receive a seamless and compliant service. A positive attitude towards change, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.

Our client, a savings institution based in Buckinghamshire, values a culture rooted in teamwork.

Duties of the Team Leader:
  1. Lead and motivate a team of 5, managing operational tasks, resource and workforce planning, delegating effectively, and ensuring capacity meets business needs.
  2. Collaborate with the Customer Services Quality Assurance Champion to deliver training based on feedback from quality assurance checks.
  3. Handle immediate customer complaints effectively.
The successful individual will possess:
  • Experience in a customer-facing, team management or leadership role within a Bank, Building Society, or the wider financial services sector.
  • A strong background in customer service.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, including work allocation, performance management, and appraisals.
  • Ability to manage customer complaints effectively on a daily basis.
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car, as the office is not easily accessible by public transport.
