The role will be the Team Lead for specimen reception , dissection, and main lab of Cellular Pathology, you will be involved with developing this role to provide continuous improvement for the cancer diagnostic service and cancer targets for the patients in central Lancashire.
Your duties will include supporting the team in the day to day organisation, management and supervision of a laboratory area to ensure delivery of a timely, quality service diagnostic service in the specimen reception, dissection, Mohs service , and main histology lab (tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, IQC and case assembly)
