Job summary

A community support organization in the City of London seeks a qualified individual to manage day-to-day operations and oversee support services for individuals with autism and learning disabilities. Candidates should have experience in similar roles and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. This role requires compassion, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to commute to Harrow.
  • Experience in supporting adults/children with autism and learning disabilities.

  • Conduct risk assessments and care plans for clients.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operational management, delivery and development of Together and Youth Connex Services.
  • Provide supervision, guidance and oversight of the team, including Support Workers, students and volunteers.
  • Conduct risk assessments and care plans for the clients.
  • Plan and implement a variety of recreational and educational activities tailored to the interests and needs of our clients.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to parents/guardians regarding clients development and progress.
  • You should have 2/3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are able to commute to Harrow.
  • You have experience in supporting adults/children with autism, mental health, behaviours that challenge and learning disabilities.
  • You can organise activities that are person-centred and appropriate to each child\'s abilities and development.
  • You have strong organisational and planning skills.
  • You have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are compassionate and patient.
