About The Role

Are you ready to take the next step in your Health and Social Care career and meet the challenge of this exciting role? As a Care Team Leader, you'll support the Service Manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift at our residential service.

Job title: Care Team Leader

Location: Hull (HU7 postcode)

Hours: 40 hours per week

About you

Do you have previous experience working in care, leading a team, and want to further your development within a Care Team Leader role?

This is an opportunity for a proactive Team Leader to join an evolving Care Company. You will need:

  • Previous experience working within a care role supporting people with learning disabilities or behaviors that challenge.
  • Ability to demonstrate your ability to lead a team/shift.
  • Ideally, you will be working towards or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

The Role
  • Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower your team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Support the development and skills of Support Workers through recruitment, induction, supervision, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, and managing sickness and absence.
  • Lead to ensure Support Workers understand their responsibilities, delivering safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led support and care at all times.
  • Ensure all supported individuals have person-centered support/care plans, updating them as needed.
  • Oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service, maintaining high standards of service user records and empowering individuals to live their lives as they choose.
