Job summary

Aspirations Care Limited in Worcester is seeking a Team Leader to guide a team of support workers, ensuring compassionate, person-centred care for adults with complex needs. You'll supervise, mentor, and coordinate day-to-day tasks in a busy care setting.

You’ll build strong relationships with service users, families and external professionals, maintain safety and dignity, and support continuous training and development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Kind, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs (autism, learning disabilities, mental health).
• Previous care experience is essential; ongoing training will be provided.

A Day in the Life of a Team Leader

No two days are ever the same as a Team Leader. Your day might start with a handover, checking in on the people we support and ensuring everyone’s needs are being met with care, dignity, and respect. You’ll lead and inspire a team of support workers, offering guidance, supervision, and encouragement to help them deliver the highest standard of support. From coordinating rotas and managing day-to-day tasks, to stepping in and providing hands-on support when needed, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the day, you’ll build meaningful relationships with the people we support - helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and live fulfilling lives. You’ll also liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care. There’ll be problem-solving, celebrating achievements (big and small), and making sure everything runs smoothly and safely. By the end of your shift, you’ll know you’ve made a genuine difference - not just to the people we support, but to your team as well. You’ll build real relationships, celebrate progress, and be a trusted presence in someone’s life. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, communicate openly, and make decisions that truly matter.
