A local government council in Warrington is seeking a part-time team leader for its Refuse and Recycling Collection Service. The successful applicant will work 18.5 hours across two days and must hold a valid category C driving licence. The role involves managing collection services and participating in overtime as needed. An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Refuse and Recycling Collection Service for the recruitment of 1 part time team leader based at Woolston Depot. We are committed to delivering a high quality service to our residents and are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic team member to work with us to achieve our aims.
The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and prepared to work across the whole range of services we provide including domestic, recyclable and green waste collections.
Operational hours of work are for 18.5 hours per week over a 2 day working week Tuesday and Wednesday, 6.30am to 4.15pm. The hours available are for a full day shift within the operating days and times shown however; participation in overtime working is expected in order to meet the needs of the service as and when required by management.
Applicants are required to hold a valid, clean category C class licence and Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence qualification card (Min 1year). Successful applicants will be required to complete a company medical and a driving assessment prior to employment.
