Catering Team Leader – REQ ID: 608516 – Location: New College Pontefract, WF8 4QR – Contract Type: Permanent – Vacancies: 1 – Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week – Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) – Shift Times: 8:30am - 3:30pm – Salary: £13.25 per hour – Ideal Start Date: 13/10/2025

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Team Leader to join our team at New College Pontefract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for food service and team leadership to work in a rewarding educational environment.

As a Catering Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are consistently met. You will support and guide the catering team, helping to create a positive and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the catering team in daily operations
• Ensure food is prepared and served to high standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and service areas
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Deliver excellent customer service to students and staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
