The Team Leader (TL) is a people and consumer-focused leader who supports an inclusive environment. Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, the TL is responsible for results related to the clean inspect and lube system, centerline management system, the 5S system, process data integrity, and the Oscar scrap elimination system.

You will join the Site Management Team, collaborating with key partners in a fast-paced environment. Your role includes coaching and developing your team by building problem-solving skills and developing control strategies to help operators respond to out-of-control situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage team performance, including recruitment, engagement, and development initiatives.
  • Facilitate line loss analysis, waste elimination, yield improvement, and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Participate in internal audits, food safety committees, and sanitary design teams.
  • Spend time on the production floor to gather information on stops, centerlines, and changeovers.
  • Investigate root causes of top stops and develop daily plans for ownership areas.
  • Discuss and establish countermeasures for top stops and root causes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Continuous Improvement, and Maintenance teams to address losses.
  • Lead the centerline and Quality Daily Management Systems.
  • Assist in implementing and training on the QRMP program.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for payroll and process standards.
  • Support development of centerline definitions, standard procedures, and lead root cause problem-solving efforts on key process losses. Coach teams on CIL, CLM, 5S, and Oscar systems execution.

Other requirements:

  • Ability to learn intermediate Microsoft Office and SAP skills.
  • Strong planning and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of documentation requirements and importance.
  • Ability to write SOPs, OPLs, and CILs.
  • Capability to coach, train, resolve conflicts, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of safety policies such as lock-out/tag-out and confined space entry.
