Role Responsibilities

The main purpose is to support the Service Manager in delivering a high-quality, person-centered service to help individuals manage and de-escalate mental health crises in a safe, friendly, non-clinical setting. Responsibilities include recruitment, coaching, supervising staff, monitoring performance, reporting data for stakeholders, representing the service in meetings, adhering to policies, maintaining health and safety standards, managing budgets, overseeing record keeping in line with GDPR, liaising with health professionals, safeguarding, and maintaining premises.

The role requires flexibility to work remotely when needed, including evening and weekend shifts, and participation in on-call duties.

The Ideal Candidate

You should demonstrate relevant experience, good knowledge, and values suitable for working in mental health. Excellent communication skills, leadership experience (supervision/mentoring), safeguarding knowledge, GDPR compliance, and health and safety awareness are essential. Management training will be provided to support your development. Confidence with IT applications, ability to deliver therapeutic interventions in a person-centered manner, and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly are also required.
