A leading care provider in South Shields is seeking a passionate Team Leader to oversee the ABI service, supporting clients in gaining independence while managing daily operations. The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience in health and social care, along with a Level 3 qualification. A strong commitment to making a difference for both clients and staff is essential. Competitive pay starting at £14.02 per hour plus various benefits including enhanced pay rates and a comprehensive training program.
Team Leader - South Shields - £14.02 per hour
Typical shifts are: Monday to Sunday; 7:45am - 3:15pm or 2:45pm - 10:15pm and alternative weekends on either Saturday or Sunday.
Team Leader will be expected to cover on-call, on a rota basis with the Deputy Manager and Service Manager.

As a Team Leader with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision’s and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Team Leader having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Team Leader should have previous experience in a similar role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals an acquired brain injury.
