About the Company

Anns Home Care is recruiting a Full-time, as and when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Belfast. The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for providing high-quality care to clients in their own homes by monitoring the quality of care. Flexibility to work unsociable hours is required.

Anns Home Care is a family-run agency with 25 years of experience in delivering and managing home care services. Our Care Assistants are at the heart of our operations, delivering front-line care to those in need. They provide support to elderly and vulnerable individuals, helping them live as independently as possible.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Access to a car and a full driving licence
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Empathy and understanding towards clients and their families
  • Leadership, support, and supervision skills
Key Tasks and Duties
  • Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation by example
  • Participate in and supervise the delivery of care, ensuring clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs are met while respecting dignity, choice, and independence
  • Promote best practices through spot checks and staff supervisions
  • Monitor the quality of care provided to clients
  • Prepare, implement, review, and update client care plans
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Uphold professional standards and company values
  • Keep accurate and confidential records per company policy
  • Conduct risk assessments in clients' homes as required
  • Assist in implementing new care packages within two days of acceptance and introduce/shadow scheduled carers
  • Support in inducting new care workers and training programs
  • Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
  • Assist in rota management and support scheduling activities
  • Participate in the company's Quality Control program
  • Undertake shift cover activities as needed
