Job description

As an Admin Team Leader, you will be responsible forsupervising and supporting the administrative team while also activelycontributing to frontline administrative work. You will manage daily workloads,oversee staff rotas, leave, and sickness, and provide regular performancemanagement through appraisals, training, and mentoring. Acting as the key pointof contact between the admin team and senior staff, you will attend meetings,support service planning, and help resolve day-to-day operational issues. Youwill ensure compliance with relevant policies, including data protection andhealth and safety, while identifying opportunities for process improvement andcontributing to service development and project work as required.

Main duties of the job
  • This role will oversee the day to day management of the A6day unit Ward Team.
  • Overall responsibility will be ensuring reception areas lookprofessional at all times,
  • The Team Leader will also be need to make sure staff arefully trained and effectively led to deliver a good patient experience
  • The post holder will oversee the management of reception,booking appointments using scheduling, shared email box and transfers
  • The post holder will be responsible for the first linemanagement of the staff within the team and the management of sickness andperformance including annual appraisals.
  • The Team Leader will combine supervision of team with frontline work as part of the team
