Overview

We are looking for experienced, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic M1 manager to join our team, in a respite setting to provide care and support to individuals with a learning disability, challenging behaviour and Autism.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first line management of the Home and a professional care team. The major focus of the role will be to ensure that quality care practices are implemented and adhered to, in accordance with The Essential Standards of Safety and Quality as determined by The Care Quality Commission (CQC), statutory guidelines and the statement of purpose of the Home.
  • Manage a team of key workers and oversee the implementation of care packages, including formulation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and review of care plans.
  • Plan for and supervise the delivery of care packages, working in cooperation with other professionals and agencies.
  • Manage, supervise and engage in the day-to-day care practice and activities of the home, including planning and participating in activities; ensure the health care and training needs of all residents are addressed, promoting safeguarding.
  • Display good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
Working pattern

You will be required to work on a rota system over a 7-day week which includes days, afternoons, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays, on a rota basis.
