About the Company: Anns Home Care is a family-run home care agency with 25 years of experience in delivering and managing home care services. We are recruiting a full-time, as-and-when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the quality of care provided to clients in their own homes, ensuring high standards and professionalism.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
  • Educated to NVQ level 2
  • Access to a car and full driving license
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Empathy and understanding towards clients and their families
  • Leadership, support, and supervision skills

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation by example
  • Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to meet clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs while respecting dignity, choice, and independence
  • Promote best practice through spot checks and staff supervisions
  • Monitor the quality of care and update care plans accordingly
  • Ensure confidentiality and uphold professional standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in implementing new care packages
  • Support induction and training of new care workers
  • Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
  • Assist in rota management and support quality control activities
  • Undertake shift cover activities as required
