The role

You will be managing a small focused team in an area of the production process. Your responsibilities include inspiring your reports and motivating them to see value in what they are doing and improve efficiencies. You will implement directions given by the planning team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met, and addressing issues when they arise within your team and area, whether that be people, output, or infrastructure based. You will set up machinery at the beginning of a shift ready to use and work closely with your manager on any new practices or projects being introduced.

About you

You will have experience working within the food industry in a similar position, ideally managing people or an area of production. Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are required. You will be confident, professional, and tenacious, adaptable to new working environments and tasks. Strong communication skills and a multitasking ability are essential, along with experience on food manufacturing machines.
