Old Moat is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage hospital discharge accommodations for homeless individuals. The role holder will effectively manage Broom Lane and Dickenson Road (hospital discharge) accommodations within the Homelessness Service, ensuring the delivery of a quality service that meets performance targets and legal requirements. The role holder will be responsible for motivating and managing a team of accommodation support workers with the assistance of two Homeless Lead Officers (deputy managers). The aims of the services is to support homeless individuals with the aim to move them on to more medium to long term accommodation. Broom Lane is a new accommodation forhigh complex need homeless individuals, with Dickenson Road being a service for hospital discharge cases who are in need of accommodation. Duties include completing staff supervisions/probations, running teams meetings, multi-agency working with local services/stakeholder groups, recruitment, rota’s, rent collection and representing Manchester City Councils homelessness department, amongst many others.
