Join Cambian as a Support Worker or Team Leader

Do you have what it takes to encourage and help our children to live independently, guiding and teaching them with your own life experiences? To do this, we believe you will need empathy, compassion, resilience, and positive parenting skills.

The working day can be unpredictable, involving organising activities in the morning and providing 1:1 support in the afternoon.

Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • 12 months experience in a residential setting (highly desirable, but applications from newcomers are encouraged)
  • DBS and reference checks in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices
Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care for our children
  • Offer guidance, support, and structure to their daily lives
  • Support young people to access education
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and positive living choices
  • Participate in clinically led training to enhance skills and practice
  • Perform household duties
  • Maintain records and write reports
  • Organise days out, social events, shopping, cinema, swimming
  • Attend contacts, visits, key work meetings, and therapy sessions
  • Transport young people to various provisions
