Qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a nursery setting.
  • Possess a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Job description

At Maple Road Dicky Birds, in Surbiton, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Team Leader with Level 3 or above in Early Years to work as part of the management team. You'll provide professional leadership to all staff members and maintain the highest standards of care and education.

What will you be doing:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff
  • Identify and address training needs
  • Deploy staff to meet required standards
  • Share responsibility for health, safety, and cleanliness
  • Implement nursery keycarer procedures
  • Ensure practice meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Conduct regular planning meetings
  • Provide professional feedback to parents/carers
  • Promote the nursery to current and potential clients
  • Develop positive working relationships with staff and parents
