Job description

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team in Nitra, Slovakia. This position is responsible for overseeing business operations, managing team members, and ensuring efficient workflows during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Your Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Control and monitor warehouse processes to maintain efficiency.
• Plan and manage the best use of resources to optimize workflow.
• Oversee and regulate work processes, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Monitor Health & Safety equipment usage and compliance.
• Ensure all accidents/incidents are recorded and documented properly.
• Maintain awareness of customer requirements and expectations.
• Ensure order and cleanliness in areas of responsibility.
• Comply with legal requirements within the area of responsibility.
• Motivate staff and lead by example, fostering a strong team environment.
• Ensure compliance with SSOW and industry best practices.
• Manage sickness/absence monitoring, including conducting return-to-work interviews.
• Oversee performance management of staff to ensure accountability.
• Record daily information related to warehouse activities.
• Conduct stock audits as required by the customer.
• Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives within the workplace.
• Operate Internal and External WMS systems effectively.
• Conduct quality control checks to uphold standards.
• Ensure timely delivery completion in line with scheduling and booking requests.

Your profile:

• Vocational training and expertise in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency as an AOS super user.
• Completion of external/in-house team-leading training and qualifications.
• Fluent Slovak & English language skills would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of relevant procedures, documentation, and company policies.
• Willingness to learn and implement new systems and policies.
