Overview

A grassroots charity that grew out of the local community in 2019 is looking for a Team Leader to oversee the hub and its projects. The hub is open five days a week and is run by a mix of staff and volunteers. It provides advice, a library of things and free public workshops on everything from sewing and repair to energy-saving and building resilience. This is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027. You will be working 18.75 hours per week (over at least 3 days to include some hours on Thursdays).

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day leadership and ensuring smooth running of the space
• Supporting staff and volunteers to deliver engaging, impactful programmes for the community
• Combining people management, budget oversight, and reporting with hands-on involvement in events, outreach, and service design
