We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate team leader to provide care to a range of service users and support them for their needs. The service is based in Llanelli, providing 24/7 care to service users. This could include those with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviour. Their service users are typically very active and enjoy getting out into the community for activities such as bowling, the cinema, and singing and dancing.

Your new role:

In your role as Team Leader, you will be providing support to a range of ages and personalities, promoting their individuality, and enabling them to live in line with their support plans. As part of this role, you will be involved in social, educational, and work activities to help promote the service users' social, emotional, cultural, and physical well-being. There are elements of personal care within the role, as well as general housekeeping and domestic duties. Typical shifts can include days and nights, with shift patterns such as long days, wakeful nights, and potential sleep-ins.

What you'll need to succeed:

To succeed as a Team Leader, you will need at least 6 months experience in a social care role within the last 2 years, with desirable experience in the learning disabilities field. You will also need a QCF Level 3 in health and social care or be currently working towards it. It is important that you are passionate about supporting people, flexible, and adaptable to various situations. You must be able to use a caring approach to build trust and strong relationships.
