Overview

Early Intervention in Psychosis Team Leader - Liverpool based in Baird House. This is a community based role requiring regular travel between multiple sites. The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced leadership team in Baird House, a hub that includes two other community based mental health teams. The successful candidate will be able to access support from both the Operational Manager and their band 7 colleagues. EIT Liverpool is a well established team with a skilled multi-disciplinary group of staff including a Senior Advanced Practitioner and experienced medical leads. Our staff within the team pride themselves on delivering exceptional mental health care. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality team leadership and adhere to the national guidance standards that acknowledges the specialism of this service. There will also be an opportunity to support Transformation and the newly defined Community Mental Health Framework and leading staff to embed new ways of working to support the community we serve. The successful candidate will be supported in their role and encouraged to develop the role and their professional skills. To provide clinical and managerial leadership within EIT across the entire Liverpool catchment area. To work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure a consistent approach to the care of Service Users. To build effective relationships with other care providers and ensure that views of Service Users, Carers, relatives and friends are given appropriate recognition. To influence and shape evidence based clinical practice and to take a lead role in the implementation and support change. To operate in a role that is primarily therapeutic in nature developing effective relationships with Service User in a variety of care settings. To adhere to the ethos, national targets and standards of EIT.
