Job description

To be successful as a Team Leader, you should have experience with:

  • Able to work shifts (between 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday).
  • Experience in leading teams of 8 to 12 people.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders and within the team.

Purpose of the role

To manage operations within a business area, maintaining processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with regulators.

Accountabilities
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve processes through data analysis.
  • Manage operations, promote efficient processes, risk management, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support operations and align with bank objectives and SLAs.
  • Manage and develop operational professionals, providing guidance and coaching.
  • Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies related to customer experience.
  • Create a safe environment encouraging feedback and open communication.
  • Work with HR to implement retention initiatives and manage attrition.

Additional expectations include performing activities to a high standard, demonstrating technical expertise, leading or advising teams, managing risks, and understanding organizational processes and objectives.
