Job summary

Accord Appointments Ltd is seeking an ambitious Team Leader to manage a group of Mentors and Programme Coordinators, driving development and delivering high-quality support to young people across the local area.

You will lead with energy and empathy, building a culture of achievement while guiding your team through challenging situations. This role is office-based with regular travel across the local area.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching or supervising people in employability, youth services, customer service, welfare-to-work or similar target-driven environments.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, employment, recruitment, resourcing, youth work, education or training is valuable.
• Ability to develop others, motivate teams and drive performance using data and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Mentors and Programme Coordinators.
• Create a positive culture where people feel valued and motivated.
• Help the team turn intentions into measurable results.
• Use performance data to spot opportunities and drive improvement.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, observations and development conversations.

Key Skills & Experience

You’ll have experience leading, coaching or supervising people, ideally within employability, youth services, customer service, welfare-to-work or another target-driven environment.

Candidates that have experience in coaching, mentoring, employment, recruitment, resourcing, youth work, education, training or a similar type of support role then you will have in this job.
