The working day can be very unpredictable; you may spend the morning organizing activities and the afternoon providing 1:1 support.

  • Rate of Pay: £13.71-14.07 per hour, dependent on experience, with a £30.00 additional sleep-in rate

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent in Children & Younger People's workforce
  • 12 months experience in a Residential setting (highly desirable but we also encourage applications from those starting their journey)
  • DBS and reference checks in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices
Duties include:
  • Delivering high-quality care for children
  • Providing guidance, support, and structure
  • Supporting access to education
  • Promoting healthy lifestyles and positive living choices
  • Accessing clinically led training to improve skills and practice
  • Household duties
  • Record keeping and report writing
  • Organizing days out and social activities
  • Attending contacts, visits, key work meetings, and therapy sessions
  • Providing transport for activities and appointments
