A leading social care provider based in South East London is looking for a Team Leader to guide a group of recovery workers. The role involves operational management, collaboration with various criminal justice agencies, and building strong relationships with local prisons. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the substance misuse or criminal justice sector, alongside expertise in leading health and social care services.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in the substance misuse or criminal justice sector.
  • Knowledge and experience in leading health and social care services.
  • Significant experience in leading teams with families under social care intervention.
  • Familiarity with legislation surrounding children and safeguarding practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, support, and direction to recovery workers.
  • Manage operational line management and performance appraisals.
  • Collaborate with Criminal Justice Agencies for optimal outcomes.

  • Empowering your staff to instill hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities in service users, enabling them to realise their full potential, is a crucial aspect of your role.
  • You'll collaborate with various Criminal Justice Agencies, such as police, probation, court staff, and liaison and diversion partners, to develop pathways and mutual ways of working for optimal outcomes.
  • Building strong relationships with local prisons to ensure seamless transitions for service users upon release is another key component of your role.

Rate: £28-£30 P/H Ltd Umbrella (£26.42 PAYE Inclusive)
