Job summary

Boots Opticians in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Leader to run day-to-day store operations, reporting to the Hub Manager, and act as the duty manager to ensure an exemplary customer experience. You will help lead and inspire the store team, covering customer service, sales, and clinical activities across the entire store.

Qualifications

• Experience in an optician or optical environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or coaching experience.
• Desire to learn and develop clinical skills.

• Act as duty manager and support daily store operations.
• Contribute to clinical activities including pre-screening, dispensing, and accuracy checks.

Job description

As a Team Leader in one of our stores, reporting to the Hub Manager, you will be the duty manager in store and responsible for leading and inspiring the store team day to day to deliver an exemplary customer experience. Working across the whole store, your days will be full of variety. You will be involved in everything from customer service, store operations as well as the clinical activities which include: pre-screening, dispensing, accuracy checks and much more. In your role as a Team Leader you will have plenty of opportunities to develop your clinical and leadership skills. With an industry leading 'Step Into Optics' training programme and additional leadership training programmes, we are committed to helping you develop and carve out a career at Boots Opticians.
