Watermeadow Grange in Topsham, Exeter is a beautiful care home providing 86 spacious ensuite bedrooms including a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.

The Team Leader works hands-on within the home and is responsible for overseeing the care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained, and supporting the management team in achieving the home’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and support care staff in their daily duties.
2. Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
3. Assist in the development of care plans.
4. Provide training and mentorship to new staff.
5. Communicate effectively with residents and their families.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience in a care setting, preferably in a leadership role.
2. Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
