Contract: Full Time

We burst onto the restaurant scene in 1997, when we shook up London and showed the UK a new way of eating. Part of this was the 'kaiten' conveyor belt and colour-coded dishes which made our name.

We're all about fresh, flavoursome, authentic Japanese food. Sushi is what we're famous for, but we also have a mouth-watering range of hot street food available - from traditional classics to innovative fusion dishes. Today, we have over 70 restaurants worldwide, more than 300 kiosks in the UK, and grocery products including pre-packaged sushi in major supermarkets.

What you will be doing:

You will support the All Store Manager & Deputy Manager with daily restaurant operations, including managing food preparation and service standards, and sometimes overseeing a shift in the absence of a Manager.

• You will ensure the budget is met by managing labour, food costs, and sales to achieve profit.
• You will lead in maintaining standards and support your Manager in analyzing profit performance.
• You will drive service standards, leading and motivating Squad Members to deliver excellent customer service.
• You will understand the importance of exceeding guest expectations and thrive on delivering amazing guest service.
• You will work with the ASM to identify and address skill and knowledge gaps within your team.

You will help build and sustain a high-performing team that embodies our brand values.

• You will support Squad Member training, providing constructive feedback and fostering a motivating environment.
• You will promote a safe and healthy work environment by reporting safety issues and leading by example.
• You may be required to support or cover emergency shifts when necessary.
