Job summary

Refresco in Bridgwater is seeking an experienced Warehouse team leader to guide a site Supply team. You will manage loading, storage, rotation and receipt of finished goods, raw materials and packaging, keeping the warehouse audit-ready and aligned with the daily plan.

You will work 4 on/4 off with 12-hour shifts (days 07:00–19:00, nights 19:00–07:00). The permanent role offers 22 days holiday, a pension, healthcare options and an employee benefits platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.
• Strong understanding of FIFO, stock rotation and cycle counts.
• Experience with audits and corrective actions.
• Familiar with Lean/continuous improvement practices.
• Safety-focused leadership with KPI delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a site Supply team to deliver daily plan for finished goods, raw materials, packaging and pallets.
• Drive performance of returns, FIFO/pallet rotation and cycle counts; audits.
• Audit monitoring systems; manage non-conformances; support traceability exercises.
• Conduct internal/external audits and support product trials.
• Motivate and manage team performance, training and development.
• Lead shift handovers and communicate KPIs to the incoming team.
• Deliver KPIs linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse team leader to join Refresco, a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bridgwater (TA6).

• Salary £41,431.99 pa (Basic £37,665.44 with a shift allowance of £3,766.55) - 4 on 4 off Shift pattern - 2 Days, 2 Nights 4 days off - 12 Hour shifts
• Day: 07:00 to 19:00 & Night: 19:00 to 07:00

As Warehouse team leader, you'll lead a site Supply team, making sure every loading, storage, rotation and receipt function for finished goods, raw materials, packaging and pallet stocks is delivered safely, accurately and on plan, keeping the warehouse audit-ready at all times.

No two shifts are the same

• you'll be driving returns, FIFO and pallet rotation and cycle count processes, auditing compliance systems and managing non-conformances, supporting traceability exercises and internal/external audits, and leading effective shift handovers so the next team hits the ground running.

Ideally, you will be someone who enjoys leading and developing a team and takes ownership of performance.

You'll motivate your team to hit targets across Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost, support Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, and be confident stepping in on MHE where needed.
