Overview

Team Leader required for a Cat Food Production Facility in SL2 area. We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Slough, seeking an experienced Team Leader.

Shifts & Pay

• Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. This role typically follows standard working hours, though occasional flexibility may be required.
• Pay rate: £17.31 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of 10 (and growing) operatives, fostering a positive work environment.
• Order Fulfilment: Oversee the entire order fulfilment process, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time, in full, and to our quality standards.
• Material Management: Manage incoming goods, oversee stock control procedures, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control checks throughout the fulfilment process to maintain product quality.
• Health & Safety: Champion a strong health and safety culture within the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices.
• Process Improvement: Lead the review and improvement of our operational and fulfilment processes, making recommendations to management to support business growth and our evolving product offering.

• Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles in an industrial, production, or warehousing setting is required.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of diverse people to hit their goals, with a "People first" approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
